When I've Got The Gun
1/31/25
November 2024 will see the release of the first single titled “When I’ve Got The Gun” off her new five-song EP: “Dogwood.” With lines such as: “I’ve got the power, cause I’ve got the gun,” and “Put you down like a dog,” the single delves deep into the intricacies of authority and power dynamics in three minutes. Masterfully produced, mixed and mastered in Dolby Atmos by Cody Doss (Piff Marti, flipturn, Dosey, King Complex) the track effortlessly immerses you in its universe. The track is reminiscent of Ryan Beatty’s soft pop-indie sound, and the delicate guitar layering signature to The Paper Kites.
