July 19th saw the release of Chloe Borsody’s Dogwood, a four-song Folk/Pop EP that revolves around the relentlessly cyclical nature of life, as well the ways we love, lose, and learn. The project draws influence from inspirations like Noah Kahan, Wild Rivers, and Ryan Beatty, but with a voice all Borsody’s own. Produced, mixed, and mastered in Dolby Atmos by Cody Doss (flipturn, Dosey, Piff Marti) the project pulls you into its atmosphere effortlessly. The project is dynamic world of guitars, floating synths, lush backing vocals, and gutting storytelling that feels simultaneously intimate and vast.
